REZIDOR HOTEL ACQUIRES PRIZEOTEL - TEAM HARLFORUM - 03-09-2016
Rezidor Hotel Group acquired a 49% stake of Prizeotel for €14.7 million (US$16.9 million), while also securing further rights including the acquisition of the remaining 51% in four years. Following the purchase, which will be closed over the next several weeks, Rezidor and Prizeotel are planning an “integrated approach” towards the brand's business development as well as sales, marketing and distribution. Prizeotel will continue to be led by Marco Nussbaum and his team, who retain full responsibility for the business. Rezidor will steer key strategic aspects through its shareholding governance represented by Wolfgang Neumann, president and CEO of Rezidor.
